Mind Yourself is dedicated to improving the physical and mental health of the London Irish community. We promote happy and healthy living for any Irish person living in London.
We understand the wide diversity of the Irish experience and this understanding enables us to openly address some of the root issues that can lead to poor health or sense of self. We offer a place to be heard, a place to share and a place to be useful.
We are particularly concerned with supporting people who feel marginalised due to their world views or life experiences, including:
- Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) community
- Traveller communities
- Adult survivors of institutional childhood abuse
- Those of mixed heritage
- Non-denominational groups
Our services support people through life’s transitions and times of crisis. We do so by providing familiarity when people need it most, offering a space for open dialogue and expression, and support in accessing professional services.
