Helen delivers training for Mind Yourself including Wellbeing workshops, Street Wisdom, and one-to-one professional coaching.

I bring over 25 years’ experience in education, psychology, learning, training and development in commercial and educational environments as a director, leader, teacher, project manager, trainer, researcher, facilitator, coach and consultant. I have diverse experience of strategic, operational management and change management within the public and private sector. I have a passion for facilitating effective working relationships and partnership working. These include for example working with strategic and delivery partners including further and higher education colleges, schools, businesses, local authority services and regional partners to address key strategic, business and delivery priorities through creative solutions and collaborative approaches.

I have worked with many organisations including: Awarding Organisations, Charities, SERCO, ACCA and the Department for Education, RSA and Local Authorities. My qualifications include: education, psychology, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy/hypnotherapy, growth mindset, energy psychology and NLP. I have substantial successful experience in the unlocking and development of human potential in a wide range of settings.

In addition to my consultancy work I have a successful practice in Dorset and London working with adults and children to move from ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can’ using a fusion of techniques. Also working with organisations and individuals (in the UK and globally) with particular interests in conscious living, wellbeing, resilience and mental toughness for all ages.

My approach is to educate, explain, energise and empower clients to be happier and flourish in their lives working with adults and children. I offer a solution-focused, evidence-based approach bringing together the therapies mentioned as well as the latest research from neuroscience, growth mindset and positive psychology.

Example offering includes:

  • Facilitation of leadership development programmes – using action learning sets together with a variety of possible interventions including growth mindset, positive psychology and mindfulness.
  • Mentoring and coaching – one to one and in group settings (face to face and on line).
  • Delivering workshops and training – for example, supporting start-ups and experienced business owners – specialised input in terms of making a pitch, communication, public speaking and other key areas.
  • Networking – I have been developing networks for over 10 years eg. RSA London Mindfulness Network.

Some other core areas of work include:

  • Developing programmes wellbeing and resilience for individuals and organisations to move from ‘I can’t’ to ‘I/we can’.
  • Working with all ages with particular experience with young people and graduates. (aspiration, hope, self-esteem)
  • Growing citizens and intergenerational work
